This is a souvenir of my last Italian trip: Pizza allo speck and mushrooms. As you can see the original pizza must be crusty on the borders and soft in the centre. Fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, tender speck and tasty porcini mushrooms were parts of this masterpiece.
mmmmm, I had some great pizzas when I was there 2 years ago. So simple and fresh, and so delicious. Even the pizza bianca was great for a snack, being just dough brushed with a bit of oil and garlic.
