Kefir Grains [General]

Does Rainbow Foods really have live kefir grains? Last I saw, I thought they only had some kind of powdered product that isn't infinitely reusable. After all, live grains wouldn't make for many return customers...
I'd love to find a commercial source of live kefir grains. Unfortunately, the ones my mom gave me were tossed when a freezer died many years ago.

Maybe Rainbow has live grains 'under the counter'. ;-)
I've had to restart my grains a number of times in the last year. Once they were tossed into the slop bucket by an overzealous husband who was tidying, another time they were 'cooked' when the kefir jar was sat too close to the crockpot, and then, after finally bringing them back a third time, they were accidentally eaten by a Japanese man that was staying at our farm for a while last fall.
When I get a decent supply of grains built up again, I can let you know. If not, try posting on one of the Weston A. Price lists on Yahoo or facebook. There is bound to be someone who has lots right now.
