Forgive me if I am going over old ground but I continue to look for the ultimate British banger. Suggestions much appreciated.

That would depend on what you call a British banger. Britain has a hugely diverse array of sausages.

And I have tried them all. I was just simplifying things by asking for the bog standard banger; pork breakfast sausage.

I have tried these and like them very much.

The site is very detailed and a bit obsessive which I like.

Give em a shot, way way better than what you can buy in the stores.

As for getting them served up a restaurant, have you tried the Glen Scottish pub? I found them to do a pretty respectable rendition of bangers & mash.
