Kosher section at Loblaws on Baseline has the kind that are mini-hotdogs in pastry.
Addictively awesome but cost more. Way better than most sausage rolls tho'.

All this talk about sausage rolls made me have a craving....so I bought some sausage rolls at The butchery. They were very tasty and filling. I did find that when I heated them up in the oven they were a little greasy but I just blotted with some paper towel and they were great!! Definitely will buy them again.

Just saying...
they are silly simple to make.

Especially if you don't mind buying the pastry dough in frozen form.

My mom makes THE best sausage rolls.

As soon as I saw this post, I called her and asked her to make some this weekend.

She pre-makes them and freezes them so we can pull some out at any occasion.

Can't wait for Christmas :)
