ottawa foodies

I'm curious to hear what people think of the food vendors and/or corporate tent foods at Bluesfest this year! I'm volunteering at the fest so I'm there practically every day and it SEEMS to me that there is more variety than previous years? I have yet to try any of the vendors since I get a free meal with the shift I work that us volunteers prepare.
My good friend said the chocolate fondu vendor is amazing!

So far we've been fairly happy with what's available. We're tried the following:

- Chicken Shawarma. Just your basic tasty shawarma, nothing super special but still good.
- Falafel sandwich. I found it a touch dry, but they were good with giving lots of falafel and lots of toppings at least.
- Chicken Gyros. I didn't see this one but my husband said it was really tasty, and he enjoyed the fried onion on it.
- Pizza Pizza's vegetarian slice. Too many red onions! But otherwise about what you'd expect from their pizza.
- Beavertail. Well, that just speaks for itself. ;)

Yes, beavertail......had a bite of the maple one with chocolate on it (had never had that one before) and wow, that was good!! I'm waiting until this weekend to try some of the food vendors!
