Has anybody tried this from Loblaws. I noticed the add in the flyer. Curious?

I've had it once, was a very excellent steak! A bit pricy, but it was a treat, a buttery fatty beefy treat.

Had Wagyu beef short ribs at an LCBO cooking class once. They were really good, and sorry can't remember if it was Derek Benitz or Michael Blackie who said to save your money and buy the cheaper cuts, as there is more of a difference between the cheaper cuts than there is between the higher end steaks. That said, I did have wagyu beef strip loins from Wegman's in Syracuse that were expensive but excellent, so there's no reason why Loblaws shouldn't be as good.

I saw the meat.. had little to no marbling. The point of Wagyu is to be ultra marbled. Didn't bother buying it.
