ottawa foodies

After a recent trip to the Maritimes I discovered King Cole Tea(made in Sussex, NB), which was lucky available from Loblaws (bottom shelf usually).

The other day I went to 2 Loblaws (Vanier & Gloucester Centre) and they didn't have any boxes of 60 (which is the only size sold in Loblaws)

Anyway does anyone know where to buy King Cole tea in Ottawa???

I have always bought King Cole tea from various Loblaws and Independent stores around the city. Just last week I went looking and discovered it was no longer available at the Independent Store at the corner of Bank and Alta Vista. I asked the grocery manager and he said it was no longer listed in their "book". Apparently ordering is done for them by head office. I asked if he would inquire about it as I know I'm not the only King Cole fan out there. I will keep you posted as to what I find out.

Well, I just bought a box at the Loblaw's in College Square.

Interesting fact that I found out: the King Cole 60 bag/box weighs the same as the Red Rose 72 bag/box.

I found King Cole tea at Elmvale Loblaw's this week.

I saw it at the Hartman's, as well, but I bet it was more expensive there than anywhere else ;)
