Walking tour of Hull, Saturday April 28 [Events]

2007 Apr 14
So I've decided to try a walking tour of Hull on Saturday April 28. Hoping to start out at about 10:00 am and finish up in the afternoon. I'm sure there is a lot of great food across the river, and I wanted to check out what's there.

Some of the places on the list so far are:

Fidelice
Papilles Gourmandes
Miss Chocolat
La Trappe a Fromage

and possibly L'argoat or Saveur de Colombie, but everyone could be too full for a meal at that point.

Anyway, SteffQc has been kindly helping me out with some suggestions. What I'd like to do is start the day at a nice place for coffee and cappucino, then move on through various food shops etc for the rest of the day. I may contact some of the vendors to ask what featured foods they have that week or if they have anything special they wish to present. Anyway, this topic is open for suggestions if anyone has a vendor they'd like considered etc. You can also leave personal messages for me, but since my computer crashed I won't be all that speedy at replying. Closer to the 28th I will bump the topic and do an informal rollcall.

Questions? Comments?

Make sure you check out the poutine at "La Pataterie Hulloise" at the corner of St-Joseph and Montclair. My all time favourite poutine in this area! :)

Sorry everyone, but the weather forecast for this weekend is a 60% chance of rain. This is one of my few Saturdays without my kids and I'm not willing to spend it slogging around in the rain.

Apologies, but I'll have to postpone.

Some other time, maybe?
