chipotle in adobo sauce [Food/Vendor]

I've seen a lot of great-looking recipes that call for chipotle in adobo sauce. Does anyone know where I could buy that?

they sell Herdez brand at many of the large grocery chains. i pick them up at Food Basics in their little 'international' aisle - super cheap at like $1.29 or something.

puree the entire contents of the can and add some to salsas or soups. it will change your life!

Much more widely available now - that's a really good thing - in Mexican areas of many grocery stores, Sultan and other mid east food stores...
Like monty I puree the whole tin and what I don't use I freeze - some people do it in ice cube trays, I spread some plastic wrap on a pie plate/pizza pan and drop ~1 Tbs sized dollops on then freeze. When frozen I gather the blobs up in the plastic & store in a plastic tub - keeps a long time frozen. fyi I've read a number of times over the years where someone reads a recipe that calls for 2 or 3 chipotles and they use 2 or 3 cans - ooooweeeeeeee! always makes me lol. You wouldn't do that would you, Pingu? =;0)
A favourite use for me is in Chipotle Dip at Epicurious - finger-lickin good stuff!

This is another good brand, with a thicker sauce than the Herdez.

They also keep really well in the fridge because they are in a vinegar-based sauce. They will keep for months, but they won't last that long, cause you'll be putting them in everything! I find them at most any grocery store in the 'international' or Mexican food aisle.

You can get them at Grace (Grace Ottawa ) on Bank St. I believe they carry the La Costeņa brand that Andy pointed out. Good stuff (and the not-so-secret ingredient of my BBQ sauce...)

Thanks everyone! I'll keep an eye out for it and buy two or three cans since it seems so addictive :)
