Brasseurs du Temps is officially opening May 1 in the Hull waterworks building (170 Montcalm). They'll start serving their own beers from May 15th or so. I walked by the building today, and I have to say this is a pretty sweet location. It's a beautiful old stone building with its own "waterfall"! (ie: there's a dam behind the building)

As I was walking around taking pictures, one of the owners (Marc) came out to say hi. Very nice guy. As we chatted, I peeked in the door and saw lots of construction activity underway. They're obviously busy getting ready for the big opening. Can't wait!

Great news. The city desperately needs a good brewpub. Location looks interesting and reminds me of another interesting location on Montcalm that used to be Laurier sur Montcalm. Looking forward to it.

That is a beautiful building for sure and it is pretty convinient to get to by bus (aka, easy walk from Terraces De La Chaudieres. I will have to check it out when it opens.
