Has anyone tried the dulse, lettuce, and tomato sandwich? I have no idea if anyone here is making one, I'm just curious whether anyone has even heard of it.
It isn't a bacon replacement. Nothing can replace bacon. Just keep in mind that you're eating a sandwich with a salty, slightly smoky sea green. It's a bacon substitution. That's the important thing to keep in mind.
I wouldn't mind trying one.
Now I'm thinking of crumbling some into our regular meals of fried tomatoes in the fall. I think that could work.
