I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for rehearsal dinner locations in the downtown area for a reasonable price (around $20 a person if that's possible?) It will be December 14 so I would like to book soon as I know it'll be busy with Christmas parties. Thank you!

don't tell anyone it's for a rehearsal dinner - they will jack the price the second they hear that is your budget, which seems a bit on the low side... if you want or need something private in terms of room.

Thanks for your suggestions! Probably around 30-40 people, and by downtown I do include the Byward market (the church is at Elgin and Laurier, so not too far). I've never hear of Prinzo, looking into it now!

You could check out Big Daddy's - I think they moved into a location attached to the Cartier Place Suites Hotel. Way back when I was married, there was an Italian restaurant in this spot and they catered our rehearsal dinner in a meeting room that was part of the Cartier Place Suites Hotel - our group was around 40 people and the actual restaurant did not have enough room for our group, hence the meeting room. Hotel is located at the corner of Cooper and Elgin.
