Anyone tried pastéis de nata from Anabia? [General]

Looking at you Warby! I know their cupcakes are good but haven't been there on a Saturday to snag some pastéis de nata which are only made on that day.

Some of those don’t looked cooked enough. Haven’t tried them from there, but did just get home from Lisbon where Manteigaria produced far superior pastel de nata than the much-celebrated place in Belem.

Andy, wow thanks for the tip! I didn't know Anabia were offering these until now.. we'll definitely go and check it out on a Saturday.

AD_2, I prefer the pastéis from Belém over the Manteigaria ones but that's purely subjective. The secret-recipe Belém product is unique — but that doesn't mean everyone will prefer it. The Manteigaria pastel is particularly well made but has a pronounced lemon flavour that I don't enjoy quite as much. Don't worry, I still eat it with great pleasure. 😁

Yes, as far as the great debates of the day go, this one is the most delicious :)

I didn’t notice a lemon flavour but yes it’s all subjective. I found the one I preferred just a bit more flavourful on the whole, compared to Belém. But I should go back and doublecheck at the earliest opportunity.
