It looks like they are suspending milk bottle delivery July 1 for the summer. They will look into again in the fall. Product issues with the Hewitt’s supplied milk caused demand for bottles to drop. Such a shame.

Anyone know how much the Farm Boy glass bottles cost?

It's either 5.99 or 6.99 and the bottle deposit is 2.00 or 3.00 (I think)

If you're just into it for the glass bottles, it's an awful lot of work. We used to get ours delivered in glass bottles, but switched to plastic and never noticed a difference in flavour. Plus, a 2 liter plastic bottle takes up about the same space as 1 liter in glass and weighs about the same.

I still can't drink grocery store milk. Fresh milk delivered to my door is the only way to go. Cochrane's is still delivering it, but it's from a Quebec dairy now.

I just think that we need to move away from plastic. It’s a shame that delicious bottled milk will no longer be delivered to my door. Hewitt’s shoulders the blame for this.
