Hi, where can one find some Norwegian brown cheese in Ottawa?

The House of Cheese in the Market used to carry geitost, but I haven't looked for it in years (and don't remember if they carried any other varieties).

It's called gjetost. (Pronounced yetoast). Most fine cheese stores carry it, pretty sure I've seen it at Sobeys.

Don't cheesesplain to me, geitost is a perfectly acceptable English spelling.

House of Cheese in the Byward Market includes "Ekte Geitost" on their imported cheese page, under cheese by country (3rd from bottom).

Not sure this means they actually have it in stock since the pages states:

"The 90 cheeses listed below are only a sample of what is available. Our stock is
continually changing as new taste sensations appear. Be sure to ask us if you have a
favorite that is not listed."
