I was wondering if anyone could recommend a store for halloumi. My local Metro only had jalapeno and Indian spiced halloumi and the Loblaws had none at all. I was looking for the regular.

al jazeera across the street from hintonburger. they always have it in stock.

THe Middle East Bakery on Somerset and Bay usually has it as well.

Did the price of Halloumi go up suddenly? I remember buying a block at loblaws for around $7, now it's close to $9!!

I saw the plain today at the Metro at Lincoln Fields.

Prince Ali bakery on Walkley has that and 5 other kinds of Middle Eastern cheese.

Cedar's grocery also sells that and many other cheese and they make all their middle eastern food in the store.

I never knew there was already spiced Halloum...

I saw it at The Piggy Market a couple weeks ago.
