Doing some research for a project and wondering what are some of the sustainable seafood products that people are purchasing in Ottawa / what are some of the products that they wish they could purchase in Ottawa?

You might have to go down to Whalesbone on Kent, grab a sandwich and chat up some patrons there.

The staff has been super friendly everytime I've been by. Maybe they could help you out a bit

Ontario Farm raised Rainbow Trout is fairly sustainable and is one of the few fish that can be bought locally and incorporated in the 100 mile diet. I don't think there's a whole lot that can't be bought in Ottawa, but I do most of my shopping for fish in local lakes, rivers and streams :).
