Dry milk powder [General]

2014 Dec 11
I want to make some hot chocolate mix to go with homemade marshmallows for small gifts at Christmas. Does any one know of a source of dry milk powder other than Carnation brand? I would like to get a quality, full fat version if at all possible rather than the skim variety. Thank you.

I buy all mine at Bulk Barn......I go for the skimmed though, so not sure if they carry anything else.

I also suggested trying Bulk Bar in your other thred. Just wanted to post here in case you weren't chekcing both of them...

Why post once at 3 in the afternoon, then again at 6pm? I guess you must REALLY need this stuff!

Good luck in your search

I'm new to Ottawa but my husband used to buy whole milk powder all the time where we used to live in Calgary. He used Nestlé Nido. You could usually get it from Middle Eastern and South American import shops for around $20 a can. Of course I don't know the names of any MiddleEastern or South American shops in Ottawa yet, but this might give you another avenue to explore. Nestlé Nido is also available on Amazon from several vendors but I'm not sure if that would reach you in time.
Good luck!
