Pressed Juices in Ottawa [General]
2014 May 24
I think you'll find most foodies will be of the opinion that it is better to eat real food than to purchase overpriced bottles of heavily marketed juice.
Also, cleanses and so-called "detox" are useless. Not that I have an opinion. Haha. :D Short term effects only, same as briefly cutting out heavy meals from your diet.
I would happily drink a Blueprint juice over a soda or a V-8 if I didn't have to pay for it. It's a reasonably high quality product as far as these things go. But based on the apparent pricing of US $250 for an 18 bottle "cleanse" I'd expect them to cost CDN $20 per bottle if sold individually. That seems nuts to me. Especially when almost all of the calories come from sugar. Way better to eat a salad! Unless you don't have teeth.

So, I was wondering if anyone knew of a place, besides Simply Raw Express, that provides pressed juices. Those annoying, cult-y, "all-in-one" things like the ever-so-popular ones you find all over the states.
