Fresh food and live music are better together. Experience a unique pairing with each instalment of the Freshly Chopped Supper Club*. An evening for all of your senses as the hottest culinary talents come together with Ottawa's finest musical tastes for a creative one-night-only menu and musical presentation.
The idea is simple: Chefs and DJ's are paired based on their specialties and expertise; The Freshly Chopped crew works with them to deliver a collaborative unforgettable dinning experience for your eyes, ears and tastebuds. With all of the details taken care of, you're free to have fun eating, listening, and enjoying the service and intimate vibe of the Freshly Chopped Supper Club inside your favourite Kitchen and Coffeehouse.
*The FCSC is limited to 55 seats in the winter, more in the summer patio/weather permitting

This episode you will be taken on a journey to Mumbai (Bombay) India where BOLLYWOOD originates and where our featured Chef Firoz Thanawalla is from. Chef Firoz one of Grounded's resident Chefs will be creating authentic, traditional and flavourful cuisine using only the finest spices and ingredients prevelent in Indian dishes.

DJ Elation will be complimenting the food with the unique sounds of BOLLYWOOD Hits, Golden Age, Modern & New Age music. Starter

Paneer tikka with peppers, onions and tomatoes with coriander mint chutney.
Chaas in a shooter glass (flavoured butter milk to refresh the palate)

Main Kolambi chi kavalin (shrimps in a spicy sour curry) served with Indian flat bread Dal tadka (lentils tempered with a strong flavoured spiced oil)
Jalfrezi vegetable curry (Cauliflower, Carrots, Peas) Basmati rice

Dessert

Kulfi (traditional Indian Subcontinent ice cream)
