ottawa foodies

If I can find fresh passionfruit I may have to freeze some for future use if I can't find frozen tubs or tins of the pulp. Maybe if you see it in Ottawa you can let us know here. Thanks.
I got some fresh yellow ones at Loblaws South Keys in December.

I usually buy bags of the frozen pulp at Little Latin America. They have it both with and without the seeds. La Tiendita also carries it, but I think just the seedless variety. Herb and Spice on Wellington and Byward Fruit Market often have the fresh fruit, but they are $2.99 each, the same price as a 397g bag.

Loblaws merivale and baseline had them last week.

Thanks blubarry. So they are still around . I have to figure out when they are in season and available here as well as where they can be found.
Travilicious, thanks - I haven't been to LLA in a while and have never noticed frozen stuff there. I gotta pay more attention. Sounds like frozen is better value. I'll have to see how the quality is.
