Ontario Apple Juice [General]

Funny you say this I used to buy a lot of Apple Juice for my children, when they first started to eat and drink. They are now over 2.5 years old and drink water, etc. I bought mostly the Rougemont brand which I assumed was from the Rougemont region of Quebec. I just went to their website and see this brand is made by A. Lassonde who also make Allen's (www.alassonde.com). In anycase, Costco has great deals on the 1.5 L bottles of Rougemont Apple juice (4 bottles for between $8-10 (often on sale for a little under $8 - that's when I would stalk up ...). Also, the Leah's Applesauce, which I also assume is Canadian (from Quebec?) is another great deal offered by Costco. You can get 3 large jars for around $5 and about 24-20 small individual small container servings of Applesnax (some are pure apple, others are apple peach, apple strawberry, etc.) for about $8. These are items I generally feel good about buying ...!

I always thought the canned apple juice was a mix or asian and North American apples and they did not have to label it as so, if it contained more Canadian apples?
I just do not like apple juice- even as a kid always hated it.
I prefer apple cider. And for apple sauce I think I would rather put an apple in the micrawave and mash that up.
But I guess that is not always convenient...
