ottawa foodies

Found this beer at the LCBO yesterday. They only had 4 bottles left in stock so I grabbed all of them. I love IPA's so I was very excited to try a double IPA! I was very impressed. Great hops, great taste, very easy to drink even at a 8.2% alc. I would definitely recommend this beer for fans of IPA. $2.95 a bottle. Hope to see it on the shelf soon.

I love IPA's also! It has been really nice the last couple months having LCBO provide a decent selection - Beau's Beaver River and the Rouge Brutal IPA are particularly nice. Being from the West Coast it is definitely something I've missed having out in this part of the world. Hopefully they will continue to improve the selection of IPA's available year round instead of just the limited releases.

tourist - you are lucky you found that. I'm pretty sure its part of the summer release. Its on my drinkvine list - which says there is only 1 left in Kanata. I love IPAs - my favorite one so far thats available on a regular basis is flying Monkeys Hoptical Illusion. Agree with DA that Rouge is awesome too. And you can never go wrong with Sierra Nevada.
