Well I have found a place (not so new) that will keep me busy for the next few months...Grace In The Kitchen on Bank St. in Old Ottawa South. I stopped in there the other day to check them out. I'm from out of town so getting into these places are somewhat of a treat. I walked through the doors and...BLAMO! all the kitchen accessories money can buy, it took me the better part of half an hour to get to the back of the store with all that was on sale, I actually started shopping for Christmas next year!
I finally made my way into the back of the store when I found paradise...some of the most diverse selections of gourmet foods I seen in a long time. Some of the stuff you have to basically go to the country of origin to get (Giusti - Balsamic Vinegar) I was very impressed. No more recipes with substitutions, now I can get the real deal and make it the way it was supposed to taste (Yummy!)
So, in the end I bought too much stuff (Christmas) and some Mamma Africa's "Peri-Peri" Zulu sauce, ran home and made the best chicken drumsticks you have ever tasted...Thank You Grace In The Kitchen!
