If you're like me, you'll appreciate this pic of yummy, sweet baklava I found at the OH-YA Cafe in the market. I went in there this morning (while picking up my salmon at LaPointe's for Valentine's) to get a quick coffee and oh my god, they had a whole display fridge full of different baklava! All shapes/cuts and sizes and the gentelman said there was some with just pistachios, just cashews, and a mix of both. This one is both.
I CANNOT and WILL NOT walk by any baklava in sight and not have any!
That's a beautiful thing! I'm not a huge dessert person (I often prefer a stick of plain good chocolate to an elaborate confection), but there's something about baklava that I find quite irresistible.
