Went to Farm Boy St. Laurent and Montreal today after work. I hesitated to post this under the Vendor section since it's not really specific...

Was surprised to see rotten spinach and salad mix. I guess it happens?

On another note - tried their zucchini relish - it is friggin awesome!
I read the ingredients - you hardly even need a recipe to make this stuff - all natural - no "utimates" or anything like that. Just pure foods.

Apparently all their prepared condiments and sauces are like that. Good to know!

I was just at the Merivale location this afternoon... pineapples are on sale too! ($2.99 each).

The rotten spinach and salad mix sounds like an "it happens," especially after a busy holiday season and a Christmas Day shutdown. Caveat Emptor! ;-)

I live fairly close to the new Farm Boy in the Blue Heron Mall, but the parking situation is chronic, as bad as the Merivale one. I actually prefer the one on Bank south of Hunt Club. We don't buy a lot of pre-packaged foods, and I don't get my fresh greens there and the cheese is overpriced (we go to Nicastro's on Merivale for cheese), but it is a great place to get rabbit.
