I usually dislike buffets, because I find that the quality of the food is poor and the experience is pretty inauthentic.
I grew up going to Ruby King once a month or so, and because of that, this place screams nostalgia value to me. That being said, I returned a few weeks ago after not having been in years and years, and I was actually pleasantly surprised. While it was hardly authentic Chinese food, it was actually really good for Canadian-Chinese, and on top of that, the price per person was incredibly reasonable.
I'm happy that after all these years I decided to go back, and I can't wait to return.
