After moving to Sandy Hill, I did the rounds of coffee places and found them all pretty generic. Second Cup is well Second Cup, Roast and Brew chilly and unfriendly, although their coffee is good. A friend recommended TAN Coffee at Friel and Wilbrod.I really like it here Has a good vibe and seems to be linked to the community. Mix of students and locals.The sandwiches and home made soup are priced well and the samosas are good. They serve fair trade coffee and loose tea. Have not tried the desserts but they offer gluten free for the neurotic. Service is laid back and friendly.
