steak & mushrooms with a red wine sauce @ issac's sixty four hundred. phew!!!! man what a long pretentious name. been a loyal custie at issac's for almost 10 years since their 1st location on hazeldean. they've moved to stittsville and expanded big time. what really rocks my world about their dishes is their huge accompaniment of assorted vegetables as well as their emphasis on sauces that covers your meat. their menu is large and changes with the seasons. the decor is fantabulous, big open kitchen and i save this place for special occasions or treating people who've earned and deserve being taken out. you don't see too many young or 20somethings here and it is a good drive to the edge of the city. be sure to look out their windows at night, you can actually see half the galaxy's constellations and maybe your horoscope come true. be sure also ask for what you deserve upon arrival: a good seating and a good server.

Ashley tells me that Issac's has moved from Kanata to Stittsville and they've added "64 Hundred" (their address on Hazeldean) to the name.

I went here with high expectations after hearing good things. My scallops were slightly astringent and the rest of the food was underwhelming.
