Poppa-Bean is a local coffee roaster located in Vars, Ontario. Having started out as a hobby and roasting coffee beans in a hot-air popcorn popper, which is the basis for their name, Poppa Beans has expanded to 5 poppers, then a 5-pound roaster and now a 30-pound roaster to keep up with demand.

They can be found weekly at the Ottawa Farmers' Market, Cumberland Farmers' Market and a variety of different stores in and around Ottawa. Although their product does change from time to time, they will always carry coffee from Sumatra, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Peaberry, Bali, Brazil, Cuba and Sumatra. They also have seasonal coffee from Hawaii.
