Schnicken: if this is the place at Bank & Slater, I think it was called Kyoto Sushi before.

Thanks for posting about the new management. I wasn't thrilled about the old shop either. Will have to give them a try!

I cannot recall the name of this restaurant before it was Miso. However, I had frequented it several times until I found the quality lacking.

In between that, I had been getting my lunchtime sushi fix at other spots.

Just recently, I decided to check Miso out and was pleasantly surprised.

The couple who owned the previous restaurant have retired and Miso is under new management, as well as a new name.

They have a varied menu with specials at lunch every day.

I like to eat my sushi often without any soy sauce and never with ginger or wasabi and I pretty much stick to salmon as I enjoy it that much.

I was quite pleased with the salmon here and the festival roll is quite fun. There are two lobster rolls that are interesting and one is quite filling.

The only downfall is that the rice does not seem to be quite sticky enough; but that won't stop me.

They will also accommodate my weird quirks of not wanting any cucumber and they add some avocado in instead. This is appreciated.
