More of a weed really.
A weed that doesn't know how to use Google Translate all that well.

Gee, you guys are awful cynical, thinking new user might be some kind of plant. . . . . . . . .

That was a hilarious post. It's pizza. There was nothing new and/or unique about the product or the presentation. It comes on round bread served in a box. In fact, having tried some of the pizza, I find it tired and overrated.

Whatever you say Mr Slice.

Hello,
Looking at slice and co. from a different perspective, with that being a restaurant employee. The food at slice and co. is new and unique with presentation that would do well on canvas in a art gallery. The chef Warren Sutherland, is a phenomenal cook. Along with owner Marlon, Warren and Marlon are university educated and are two guys focused on the food and staying on top of new and innovative. Warren Sutherland is definitely one of the best chefs in Ottawa, awards or not, one of the best chefs in Ottawa.

I ate here in March after purchasing a Groupon which included two pizzas and two drinks. Great price after the Groupon, which I think was a mere $30. We were feeling extra hungry and tried out two appetizers - deep fried pickles and kettle chips. I was super excited for the pepperoncini aioli which turned out to be a disappointment (tasted nothing like pepperoncinis) but the appetizers themselves were pretty decent. Out came the pizza - I ordered a margherita and boyfriend ordered a "deep dish". I think someone needs to explain to them what deep dish pizza is... it was more like a calzone and the toppings/sauce/cheese ratio was the same as a regular pizza. As it turned out, we both agreed our pizzas were pretty bland, and not worth returning for. The service was actually great and I have no complaints there, just average pizza not worth the price tag.

Ordinary pizza in a humdrum setting at a stiff price--22 bucks for an individual pizza.

I live in the neighbourhood of Slice & Co. I have been reading all the comments on this pizza place and am under the impression that commenters are not putting things in perspective.
This is a new restaurant, the 3 times I have been there the service was good, staff are pleasant, though they do need more training in a variety of approaches to customers. What I see is a lack of communication between the kitchen area and the wait staff. Servers do not appear to know their product and they should. If you sell it to customers you have to know what you are talking about.

The food could be improved more attention to details and the menu needs to be re-thought. Is it really what the clients want.

The 3 times I was there I found the sandwiches to be good. The regular pizza is not as flavourful as it could be and this is where the kitchen needs to look into what they are doing. The salt content needs to be adjusted. As for the gluten free pizza that is a great idea.
As for the price, the pizzas are priced no different from any other pizza joint in Ottawa. So we cannot talk of items being over priced.
Slice and Co needs the owner and staff to sit down and review what they are doing.

Went last night. Really short. Bad Pizza, bad staff, bad experience and over priced. That was the shared comment from my 3 co-workers. Will not be around for very long with this quality and over priced product. This place makes Pizza Pizza stand out as a 5 Star pizza. This place is that BAD!

This is a modified Original - Chicago Deep Dish. I had subbed out the sausage for pepperoni, because I am not a fan of sausage on pizza. I enjoyed it a lot, but the spiciness of the pepperoni surprised me! I think when I go back I will actually give it a shot with the sausage.

My friend had a Margherita and enjoyed it a lot! I didn't get to try any but I was impressed with the toppings and the way it was made.

The Windy City Chicago Deep-Dish ($20) pizza was good. Lots of tasty dough, pleasantly blackened for flavour on the underside. Generous tomato sauce and meat on top of a base layer of cheese give this pie the Chicago style touch.

However, the edges of dough are folded over on top of the pizza rather than running up the sides of the pan, making this more like an open calzone than a deep dish pizza. As you can see in the pic, the edges of the dough don't even touch the sides of the pan.

The meat, sauce, and dough are in balanced harmony. This is a tasty and hearty pizza option that is certainly unique in our town. Nice! Looking forward to enjoying the half we brought home. :-)

[EDIT: This tasted positively amazing the next day! Something I can't say for most pizza in this town.]

My kids shared the Margherita pizza ($14) so I haven't tasted it. But they enjoyed it and the leftover slice we took home sure smells good! Unlike some other pizzerias, the basil leaves are in generous supply. This is a nicely put together Margherita!

The Large Caesar Salad ($10) was generous and fresh, perfect for sharing between two as an appetizer. Tender Romaine lettuce with a very light and lemony dressing. Deep fried capers were awesome. The crostini on top were generously anointed with oil -- a nice alternative to croutons. The anchovy population was represented by two whole fillets nestled deep within the salad. Very cool!

I enjoyed the fries from Slice & Co twice last week. I was so impressed the first time (a Wednesday), that I had to come back the following Saturday when out with friends.

They were beautifully crisped and salted and served with vinegar and a garlic aioli
