Foods from T'Basil

The restaurant is nice to look at. Mood lighting but not too dark that you can't see what you are eating. They also have banquet rooms available.

When we got there it was not very busy and the service was good and fast.

I ordered Summer Rolls and Chicken Panang Curry. Both were pretty good. By the time I got halfway through the curry I got a little over-saturated with the flavours. I had the rest for lunch today though and was happy with that.

The husband ordered Wonton and Green Curry. He said the wontons were good but raved about the green curry and seriously contemplating ordering a second order.

Once the waiter wrapped up my left overs we were left sitting at our table for 20 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted dessert (yes) or the bill. Finally a different waiter came by and took my dessert order.

20 minutes later, my dessert arrived. I was not really happy about the wait since we have a puppy and didn't expect to be out this long. I had "Alaskan Banana" which was two deep-fried banana rolls with a scoop of ice cream.

Good, but not a 20 minute wait good.

When I got home I had to bathe my puppy because he pooped in his bed and got it all over...like you wanted to know that...

We would go back because restaurants wit good food are rare in Orleans but if we had to wait that long for service again, it would save time to go eat downtown.
