Established in 1980 in an old Victorian house in the village of Lanark (in the Ottawa valley). The house originally contained five shops, one of which was a Fudge Shop. The Fudge Shop grew into chocolate making and after a couple of years took over the whole building and a chocolate kitchen was added.

In 2001 Village Treats relocated to a larger facility just down the road at the crossroads in Balderson.

Whether you are looking for holiday gifts, or wish to try some of the award winning Northern Nuggets, Village Treats offers a wide variety of unique chocolate treasures.

I have loved your truffles for a long time. Unfortunately for Christmas I received a gift box of six that had a peppermint one in it the peppermint tainted all the truffles which made it very unpleasant I was very disappointed. Unfortunately they were not good. Sorry I thought you should know so peppermint is packed by itself so it doesn't spoil the other truffles taste.
