I ate here once, years ago. It was pretty awesome food, with great service and a cozy environment. I remember having a quiche with side salad and some sort of pudding dessert. Both were delightful and were very obviously homemade, you could taste it. I would definitely go back again, but probably won't be able to due to the hours.

I've been meaning to try this place out for a few years now, but the hours are very limiting. This week, I found myself in the neighbourhood and contemplating lunch, so I decided to give it a try. The ambiance is quaint: mismatched chairs all with seat covers (the ones with the ties on the back), small tables for up to 6 people set close but not too close together, homemade curtains, and a bunch of old and new books lined up along one wall. It feels the way a tea room should, in my opinion, intimate and cozy. The menu is short but good for lunch. There is apparently a daily soup and entree special as well as soups and some baked goods. I had the entree special (bulghur croquettes with cashew gravy and a salad). Very tasty.

The service was quite prompt even as the place started to fill up a bit. I'll be heading back there when I get another chance.
