This place is a cool, hip lounge right in the Byward market, inbetween Heart and Crown and Patty Boland's. Went there one night for a group party....they had served us appetizers which were very nicely presented but the server completely could not tell us what was in them...very ditzy. Being a vegetarian, the organizer had requested some veggie options but they only had ONE to choose from which was a rolled up cream cheese and veggie tortilla, cut into little rounds. The rest of the apps all contained fish and smelled like it too....yucky! The bathroom was really cool....really....the decor was mod and everyone kept talking about it. Had a nice time since the atmosphere was such a different change from everywhere else in Ottawa. But, at the end of the night, there was a HUGE mixup with the coat check....very unorganized and people were UPSET, to say the least. So I would only recommend this place for someone whose looking to dress up a bit for the night and to chill out in a cool place....and to check out the bathroom!
