Hey everyone. just joined this site and I am liking it so far! I have worked in kitchens for 20 years now, and have a pretty broad and experienced past in the business of food. I think it is good that I can read up on what makes people tick and what they like or dislike about restaurants.

On a side note, I just recently got back from Las Vegas with my brother whom also works in kitchens. We ate at some really good places while we were there, and the topper was Chef Thomas Keller`s Bouchon at The Venetian. If anyone is headind down to Sin City anytime soon, do yourself a favor and check it out. My profile picture is from there, and it is a slow-cooked beef brisket with brown barley and root was to die for!

Nope! I've never worked at either of those places :)

The only places I cooked in Ottawa before I left were Signatures and Petit Bill's Bistro.
