Okonomiyaki at home [Cooking]
2008 Feb 23
i was waiting to see if someone else answered this for you, witchypoo; i'm no authority, only ever haven eaten okonomiyaki in Jp. restaurants.
Caveats aside, for lack of the authentic "teppan" used in Japan, perhaps you can substitute w/ some other flat griddle, eg., one of those big electric ones?
Its too bad Keidaya closed as they might have had a suggestion. If you happen to be traveling to Toronto, maybe a visit to "j-town" would help (although i don't know if j-town sells teppans).
