Art-Is-In the news again, goes cashless [General]

I'm a little mystified by the level of social media 'how dare they hate on poor people so' indignation over this... were there an abundance of poor people desperate to drop precious savings on Art-Is-In as opposed to, i dunno, some place where the cost of a (admittedly delicious) Dynamite Whatever Loaf that will make two sandwiches could buy four loaves of bread that will also not be stale in 48 hours?

I adore Art-Is-In's food, i (allegedly) deplore the way they (allegedly) treat their (alleged) employees, but there is no lack of affordable baked goods in this city, so I'm not buying that their move to cashless is some sort of malevolent trod upon the downtrodden.
