In Germany there used to be a dozen different brands of these things. Tablets that you put into a glass of water to make a fizzy citrus drink.

Anyone ever see those over here?

I'm not 100% certain, but I think I saw something of the sort at DiRienzo's on Meadowlands/Fisher. I'll check next time I'm nearby.

You can find this at Shoppers Drug Mart (The Natural Food Pantry or any store that has an extensive vitamin selection may have them as well). In the Vitamin C section look for a tube of pastilles (orange/lemon/lime flavours) that create an effervescent magical & delicious drink (most ~1000mg Vitamin C plus some have Zinc).

My mom used to bring back loads of these every time we went to Switzerland. Then, if we felt like we were coming down with a cold or something we'd have to drink one. They don't taste horrible but they aren't exactly soda pop!

There is also Emergen-C, which is a fizzy vitamin and mineral powder. Though, as Fresh Foodie says, it's not exactly delicious.
