There have been other 'one trick pony' bricks-n-mortar foodie business' not fare well in Ottawa .. e.g. The high end olive oil shop in Wellington West and the the specialised herb and spice store (on Bank St. ?) that went internet only.

I think Captain Caper is referring to "Cardamom & Cloves" that was on Preston - now only online.
