Sauciest canned black beans? [General]

2017 Oct 5
This is a rather niche question, I guess, but I'm trying to find the sauciest canned black beans.
I've found the more saucy specimens have, generally speaking, softer and more well cooked beans. This makes them ideal for quick Mexican/Cuban applications requiring that luscious, thick blanket of bean gravy.

Unfortunately for my bean-deprived soul, I cannot remember the brand I found in the back of my cupboard one day last month. It was a one-off purchase in some random corner store in the middle of nowhere Quebec on the way to the cottage and brought back at the end of the season last year.

Anybody have any recommendations? So far the No Name, Unico, and Farm Boy brands have been of the less sauce/more dry bean variety.

Have you tried La Costena brand?

Had to do an image search to see which ones you meant. I haven't tried those, no! I will next time, thanks.
