Got some electric daisies today (6 flowers) at the farmer's market. Tried them for the first time this summer, to me the flower/bud looks like the middle of a daisy, after a few seconds it tasted a bit sour and salty, very different experience, almost like one of those mouth puckering sour candies

Or as a topping where you can mix the chopped up flowers with sugar crystals to make some kind of crunchy topping?

In a rice dish, as the topping.

As a topping for some shortbread cookies that could be served on a cheese plate?
With some smoked salmon in sushi or as an appetizer with salmon and cucumber.

I hope my food iseas are not too terrible.
I've made many dishes where I wonder why I thought some things would even be good together...
