Hey has anyone ever had to deal with the warranty?

My egg is starting to flake some of the glaze in a few places.

Do I start by calling the place I bought it?

From a quick google and scan it looks like if you purchased it from an authorized dealer, have registered the warranty, and are the original owner, it might be covered. The terms get pretty specific about what is and isn't covered though.

I don't recall whether or not I registered it. I normally do that sort of thing but I don't recall for sure.

This sentence pretty much kills me ...

Warranty coverage does not extend to scratches, dents, chips, crazing, fading, appearances or minor cosmetic cracks of the exterior glaze that do not affect the performance of the EGG.

Well actually maybe not - I've got some serious flaking going on in a few places. Like, bigger than a twoonie. Maybe I should try anyway.

If they have the same warranty in Canada, they should cover it.
