Someone at work told me the same. T&T on the weekends have it.
So where can I find mung been flour our moong been flour . . . will start hunting for it tomorrow ? I think tapioca flour and millet flour are easier to find.
--------------------
So I found tapioca flour and mung bean flour at Green Fresh, along with the sweet bean paste.
I found tapioca flour and millet flour at Bulk Barn.
--------------------
Ok, the video recipe failed for me on a commercial crepe maker. It was sticky to the wrong things, like the spreader, which broke it up as I was spreading the batter, then the surface, when I wanted to flip it.
Anyway the main taste elements seem to be the sweet bean sauce, green onions and cilantro.
I'm going to go in another direction with the batter, because the video batter isn't working at all.
-----------------------------
I found adding an egg and some oil to the batter makes it workable as a crepe with no change in taste. I think you do need a brush to put on the bean sauce, because it's salty, so you need a very thin layer.
