Anyone know where to find food grade dried lavender? Preferably in the downtown area but whatever works! Thanks :)

Maybe herb and spice (Bank street location) or Natural Food pantry. Alternatively, there's ottawa online options, the cardimon and spice shop tjat was on preston and closed still has pop up cooking studio lessons and online store include lavender www.cardamomandcloves.com
As for larger retail, there may be some blends at tea shops or under herbes de Provence mix at Loblaws.

Try Chez Francois, Plaisirs de Provence. They are at 427 Richmond Road, tel. No. 613-759-8000. They import all kinds of stuff from France.

There is a great lavender farm in Picton where I've gotten some really great product. Sometimes you have to venture further afield.
