I was hitting up some road side stands for local produce and noticed that a few have garlic. Unfortunately, they were $3 a head. I got home later and ordered 6lbs from Happy Valletygarlic in Paisley. This garlic has done me well the past couple of years.

What variety of garlic did you order Tree Pug?

Just in time for the 2015 garlic season is a new book on the history of garlic in Ontario. I read a great review of it in my copy of "The Garlic News" summer edition this week, and the Amazon reviews are good too. See www.amazon.ca

The garlic crop here has really started to dry this week with leaves starting to brown, and harvest looks like it may be a wee bit early for me this year.

The order system on Foodie Pages only says "Ontario Garlic". In the meantime, where can I get some good garlic while I wait for my order?
