Someone posted this on a vegan food group I belong to and asked if she should just stir fry it.
I'd never seen it before so I googled yellow tofu and found a ton of interesting stuff on Burmese tofu, made from chickpeas. Which is actually a chickpea poleta. I was quite intrigued by this new new thing.
But the ingredients on the package say tofu and tumeric, so perhaps it's just plain old soy tofu with tumeric in it.
Does anyone know anything about it?
In any case it led me to the Burmese poleta, which is a very interesting thing . . . that I must try.
