I just heard the tail end of a CBC interview with Indian Express. They said that they are having a street party for Diwali. Music, food etc. It sounds really interesting but..

Does anyone know anything else about it? When does it start? Is it just sweets?

The festival is on this Saturday in Hintonburg. I think it's in a park near the restaurant. There is a little bit more information on the Kitchissippi website and some phone numbers to call for more information: kitchissippiward.com I think there is food involved in addition to sweets but it might be a good idea to call first. Unless someone has more information?
