Hey Ottawa Foodies!

I'm a freelance journalist in Ottawa, writing an article on the changes in Ottawa's food scene over the last 10 years. It would be awesome to hear from you guys about how you think the city has changed, if you think it will continue this way in the future and how it affects the city both positively and negatively.

People used to go see bands, now they go eat at restaurants.

Similarly, people used to start or join bands, now they open restaurants/food trucks or work in kitchens.

Chefs are the new rock stars.

There was a book just published on the topic you're interested in. So it seems like either that'd be a good place to start, or your angle has been been completely scooped.
